Zum Thema, wer alles relativ eng mit Reich verbunden war und doch nicht recht verstand, worum es ihm ging (Trygve Hoff als Vater von Grete Hoff, die zeitweilig Geliebte von WR war à Sharaf)
Subject: Trygve J.B. Hoff and Reich an socialism [Nasselstein to Laska and JM]
ECONOMIC CALCULATION IN THE SOCIALIST SOCIETY
By Trygve J.B. Hoff
lntroduction by Karen I. Vaughn
Liberty Fund, Inc., 1981
Dr. Hoff's 1938 book and Professor Vaughn's important introduction establish the theoretical impossibility of socialism: a system empirically in ruins but still advocated by many.
The above item I found in the Liberty Fund, Inc. 2000 Catalogue Laska sent me some weeks ago.
Interestingly this fits with the following item of my biblio:
Myron R. Sharaf: "Wilhelm Reich: Listen, Little Man!" Farmand Magazine, Oslo, Nov. 27, 1948 (Letter to the editor. Reply to Trygve Hoff's Review ibid., Oct. 18, 1948, p. 13. Rewritten by Reich, cf. The Journal of Orgonomy, Nov. 1983, p. 255.)
There Sharaf reports: "(...) Trygve B. Hoff, then my father-in-Iaw, wrote a highly critical review of LISTEN, LITTLE MAN! (...) What most surprised me was his (Reich's) answer to Hoff's remark that Reich had within him 'the stuff of which dictators are made.' Reich replied that he may indeed have the 'stuff' within him, but he had used it to discover orgone energy."
